Built in 1963 the Silver Gull Beach Club, is located on Breezy Point beach. It is a resort and private beach area that offers a variety of facilities and activities for children and adults. Rows of elevated cabanas and small cabins make up the majority of the resort. Accommodations go from tiny closet sized bath cabins to single room cabanas at a range of $700 to over $4000 for a season.
The Silver Gull offers more room for activities, roaming and relaxation than any other beach resort in the New York City area. It offers dozens of activities for all ages, including ocean swimming and an Olympic-size swimming pool, with water slides and separate kiddie pool. They also offer a variety of activities including softball, basketball, paddleball, soccer, tennis, bocce, volleyball, mini golf, horseshoes, dance and art classes, water aerobics, playgrounds, game room and acres of both sand and grass play areas.
