Rockaway Beach

Immortalized by the Ramones in their pop-punk anthem “Rockaway Beach,” this well-maintained, 10 mi. long public beach is lined by a boardwalk. It’s often pleasantly free of crowds, thanks in part to the lack of souvenir stalls. Birds from the nearby refuge like to nest here. The beach is run and operated by the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation. Rockaway Beach was once known as the "Irish Riviera" because of the large Irish American population in the area.

Nude Beach

Jacob Riis park contains a small, fenced off section of public beach that was one of the few nude beaches up until the 1980's when it decided to "clean up its act". It then became a topless beach. Since there are other beaches in game, this channel will serve as the topless beach.
