Cell Phones

Cell phones are everywhere. They can be used for everything from calling to texting to emails to web-browsing to videography. The following are some things that need to be kept in mind when dealing with cell phones on our game.

• All phone calls must be logged in either #cell or #phone. If you are in character in a channel, you must paste your side of the conversation to that channel, even if you've roleplayed walking away. The only way to avoid this is to fully leave the area and leave the channel. The rules for Languages applies for phone calls as well as normal channel usage. Leave voice mail as notes on Canaille. Do not leave voice mail messages in #cell/#phone without also sending a note: no one can read the channel logs.

• Text Message conversations need to take place in #cell/#phone if they are significant. Minor messages of "hey, we're at X, come by" can still be done in private message, but remember to keep a log! If you do not log for whatever reason, just go ahead and use #cell/#phone for all usages.

• Cell phone cameras can be used, but need to be noted on your character sheet under editable details. Pictures of supernatural events need to be approved by an ST.
